The support itself looks the way it does everywhere Ellira works: built around your week, your places and your goals. That might be daily-life support at home in Belmont, community access that makes the most of the waterfront and the Barwon River trails, or a recovery coach who meets you at a Pakington Street café rather than an office.
Geelong has strong health infrastructure we work alongside — University Hospital Geelong and the wider Barwon Health network, plus headspace and community mental-health services. If you're leaving hospital or working with a clinical team, we coordinate with them: our job is to fit into your existing care, not replace it.
Public transport is reasonable along the Geelong train line but thins out fast on the Bellarine, where a trip from Portarlington or Ocean Grove into central Geelong takes real planning. Community access support here is often about exactly that gap — getting to appointments, shopping, groups and work when the bus timetable isn't realistic.

How quickly can support start in Geelong?
It depends on the service and your suburb — Geelong is one of our newer regions and capacity is growing. We'll tell you honestly at your intake call, and a real person responds to every enquiry within one business day.
Do you cover the Bellarine Peninsula too?
Yes — Leopold, Curlewis, Clifton Springs, Drysdale, Portarlington, Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads are all on our list. For peninsula suburbs we schedule workers in the area for the day where we can, which keeps travel costs down.
Can you work alongside my existing Geelong providers?
Yes — that's how we prefer to work. We coordinate with your current support coordinator, clinicians and other providers. You choose who does what; we never ask you to move everything to us.
Is travel charged for Geelong visits?
Where travel applies it follows NDIS pricing rules and is always itemised — never a surprise. We schedule locally where we can to keep travel lines small.
Is Ellira a registered NDIS provider?
Ellira is not yet a registered NDIS provider — we are working toward NDIS registration. Plan-managed and self-managed participants can use Ellira today; the NDIS Code of Conduct binds us fully regardless of registration.
