Assistance with daily life is the practical scaffolding — meals, washing, the house, appointments, the admin that piles up and gets heavier the longer it sits. For a lot of people with psychosocial disability it is the difference between a week holding together and a week getting away from them.
Being local changes what is possible. A worker who lives ten minutes from you is realistic here rather than lucky, travel time is not billed away on cross-town drives, and when something changes at short notice we can usually adjust the same day.
The point is not to do things for you indefinitely. It is to keep the week standing while you get back to doing what you can, at whatever pace that takes.
The newer estates around Clyde North, Officer and Pakenham are a particular case: big houses, thin bus services and often no family nearby. Support here frequently starts with transport and routine before anything else.
This is where our capacity is deepest, so new referrals typically start fastest in the south-east.

Can support start at short notice?
Usually faster here than anywhere else we work, because this is our home region. After a free intake call we can generally begin matching you with workers straight away.
Will it be the same worker each time?
We aim for a small consistent team. Having to re-explain yourself to a new face every week is exhausting and undoes much of the point.
Is travel charged in the south-east?
Where it applies it follows NDIS pricing rules and is always itemised. Because our team is based here, travel costs are typically minimal.
